My Experience
After taking the Bar Exam early, I began working at the Chenango County Public Defender's Office and was quickly promoted to First Assistant Public Defender. While there, I represented clients in family court and in criminal matters, ranging from low level violations to class A felonies. After leaving the Public Defender's Office, I worked at a small General Law practice in Norwich. Additionally, I was appointed as the City Attorney for the City of Norwich and as an Assistant County Attorney. I have now decided to open my own practice with the vast experience I have gained in many areas of law, while still working as the City and Assistant County Attorney. With this experience, I have the knowledge and skills to handle any case.
My Approach
I believe in a personalized approach to each case, taking the time to understand my clients' unique circumstances and needs. I make a point to keep in contact with my clients as often as they need to assure them they are cared for. I also do not sugar coat any issues that may arise. As an attorney, I can't pull a golden egg out of my bum. It is always my intention to keep clients fully aware of the situation to make informed and competent decisions, even if the options available are not ideal. I will help guide you through the process to ideally obtain the best outcome legally possible.
